Don Gusse

VP Retail

Don Gusse is an experienced executive with over four decades in retail sales, marketing, and management. As Vice President of Retail, Don oversees Pomeroy’s retail strategy and sales execution. He leads a team of seasoned sales executives who deliver technology solutions, managed services, and global support to many of the world’s leading retailers.

Prior to Pomeroy, Don was an Executive Director for Toshiba for eight years, managing the Canadian and Eastern Regions. He also held positions at Revionics (pricing analytics), Retalix (retail software solutions), and Manthan (retail analytics solutions) for several years each. Additionally, Don worked for Systech/Openfield/Torex for eight years, managing sales and marketing.

Don began his retail career at a supermarket that was an early adopter of scanning technology. He spent 15 years at Datachecker/DTS/ICL/Fujitsu, where he last managed the Canadian Division selling retail solutions. He later moved to Telxon, where he managed the Central US and Canadian region, selling mobile technology to various industries, including retail.

Don earned his Bachelor’s in Management with a concentration in Human Resources from Oakland University. He received additional executive sales training at the University of Michigan and the University of Virginia.
