Alan McMillan is a proven sales executive with more than two decades of experience developing, enabling and leading winning sales teams. As Vice President, Regional Sales, Alan overseas Pomeroy’s sales operations in the Central and Northeast regions, where his team is focused on driving growth through new customer acquisition and the expansion of existing business.
Prior to joining Pomeroy, Alan worked with the technology division of the Kroger Co. to create commercialization strategies for internally developed retail technology solutions.
Prior to this role, he spent more than 20 years with Verizon Business (formerly MCI Communications). During this time, he held various sales executive positions, primarily supporting enterprise customer segments, and was responsible for sales leadership and executive management for Verizon’s $650M retail and hospitality vertical.
Alan holds a bachelor’s in marketing and an MBA, both from Virginia Tech.
