Community Service

Passionate about supporting the community where they work and live, Pomeroy employees enjoy contributing to worthy causes.

Pomeroy IT Solutions recognizes the importance of giving back to the community and over the years has supported many charitable organizations. We have raised money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, Boomer Esaison Foundation funding research for cystic fibrosis, and for the victims of Hurricane Katrina and the Indian Ocean tsunami.

Pomeroy employees are also actively involved with a variety of events throughout the year including the Hoxworth Blood Drive, canned food drive for the Covington Food Bank, a chili cook-off and bake sale, and silent auctions.

Pomeroy’s “Dre$$ Down Friday” initiative provides employees the opportunity to support a cause by donating $1 each Friday to wear jeans to work.  This year, the money raised is being given to the “Yellow Ribbon Support Center” which benefits the men and women who are serving in all branches of the military.

Besides monetary donations, the employees of Pomeroy recognize the value of donating time, talent and effort.  In November 2000, Pomeroy employees helped build a house for Habitat for Humanity.  Over 100 employees worked together to build home for a family of five in Elsmere, Kentucky. The house was completed in time for the family to move into their new home on Christmas Eve.

In January 2009, Pomeroy partnered with Lowe’s to paint and repair the buildings and grounds for the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky.  Lowe’s kindly donated the materials and Pomeroy employees donated their time and construction abilities to complete the work.

Whatever the project, whatever the task, the employees of Pomeroy IT Solutions are passionate in their commitment to being involved in our community and sharing our good fortune with others.
